La consultoría comprende, en primer lugar, un acercamiento a escala Municipal de Mérida en el contexto del cambio climático. En un segundo lugar, se enfoca en el barrio de  Plan de Ayala Sur. Gracias a un análisis por mapeo, un análisis de género interseccional y grupos vulnerables así como los resultados del taller participativo comunitario y una visión multiactor del barrio se identificaron oportunidades hacia proyectos de adaptación al Cambio climático.

The consultancy comprises, firstly, an approach at the Municipal scale of Merida in the context of climate change. Secondly, it focuses on the Plan de Ayala Sur neighborhood. Through a mapping analysis, an intersectional gender and vulnerable groups analysis as well as the results of the community participatory workshop and a multi-stakeholder vision of the neighborhood, opportunities for climate change adaptation projects were identified.
